One week until the "Fresh" Show

I just painted Blue Abstract 1 about a half an hour ago. It kind of looks like a rainforest to me.
Energía de los Andes (Energy of the Andes) was inspired by the trip I took to Peru. While I was there, I made a friend from New Zealand who told me the mountains have a certain energy that brings up a bunch of stuff you need to face in your life. I completely believe it, since I experienced something along those lines. I just got back 2 weeks ago, and painted this painting a few days after I landed back in the US with that experience in mind.
Forsythia- there's a Forsythia plant in my neighbor's yard that I can see when I look out my window. I love the vibrant yellow of the flowers, so I just focused on them.
Stalagmites- This is another abstract I did for the sake of the color combination. I loved the greenish yellow against ultramarine.
